Inside Sales

The Pittsburgh PA office of Synergy Media Group is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. We are seeking a talented individual who is highly organized, has excellent verbal and written skills, committed to excellence, who thrives in an environment of collaboration, and who demonstrates a high degree of enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Make cold and warm phone calls to uncover opportunities.
  • Build/earn customer relationships through outbound phone calls, e-mail, and other forms of interaction.
  • Sell audiovisual, IT, video surveillance, and card access systems to corporations and higher education institutions.
  • Generate meetings with prospective clients for Synergy Business Development employees.
  • Actively participate and develop new accounts, generate sales quotes, and handle customer inquiries to help service customers and grow business.
  • Discuss client projects and where Synergy’s solutions can be deployed.
  • Actively engage Synergy team members regularly to provide a complete customer solution in order to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Provide weekly reports and forecast opportunities.
  • Input all activity into business workflow software.
  • Effectively balance time and priorities across multiple opportunities to meet/exceed sales objectives.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Persistence: Not every potential client will create a sale or meeting. Must be able to bounce back, stay motivated, and refocus.
  • Must have a magnetic personality.
  • Understanding of normal business and office procedures.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Self-motivated independent thinker.
  • B.S, A.S. in IT, Business, or Marketing. Equivalent experience and/or military training.
  • 0 – 3 years experience.
  • Salary: $30,000/year.

Lead AV Technician

The Pittsburgh PA office of Synergy Media Group is looking for a Lead AV Technician to join our team. We are seeking a talented individual who is highly organized, committed to excellence, who thrives in an environment of collaboration, and who demonstrates a high degree of enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage team on all aspects of on-site audiovisual installations
  • Provide daily job progress feedback to Project Manager and/or Project Executive
  • Act as point of contact for all on-site customer requests
  • Install speakers, projectors, displays, projection screens, and various AV equipment
  • Rack fabrication, wire pulls and terminations
  • Configure audiovisual equipment – control processors, audio DSP, switchers, video conferencing
  • Troubleshoot complex AV systems
  • Read and interpret system schematics

Experience and Qualifications

  • CTS certification required – CTS-I preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent audiovisual integration experience
  • Audio DSP certification – Biamp, Clearone, Polycom
  • Control system experience – Crestron, Extron, AMX
  • IP addressing knowledge and other applicable IT background
  • Has outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and regularly climb ladders
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude

Technical Department Coordinator

The Pittsburgh PA office of Synergy Media Group is looking for a Technical Department Coordinator to join our team. We are seeking a talented individual who is highly organized, committed to excellence, who thrives in an environment of collaboration, and who demonstrates a high degree of enthusiasm.

The Technical Department Coordinator is responsible for scheduling service calls and installations, invoicing service visits, administration, equipment ordering and tracking, project staging, issuing change orders, maximizing technician efficiencies, ensuring service-level agreement fulfillment, booking hotels for out of town work, overseeing the scheduling software application, and providing excellent phone and email customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent phone and email customer service
  • Efficiently schedule all technician service visits and projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all scheduling
  • Respond to all customer requests as quickly as possible
  • Order equipment for all projects and track the delivery to optimize scheduling of the installation
  • Issue change orders for ongoing projects and service visits
  • Responsible for creating Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) to manufacturers
  • Utilize the company’s internal scheduling, ordering, and PM software
  • Book travel for out of town projects
  • Creation of Accurate and timely invoices for all service visits
  • Receive all incoming equipment for projects and stage accordingly
  • Responsible for the neatness and organization of the integration room and dock
  • Coordination between sales, technical coordinator, project managers, and technicians
  • Keep service tickets updated
  • Ensure all technicians input time and expenses into company software
  • Follow up with customers after the service visit to ensure all issues have been corrected

Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong computer knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
